VERSION:
Attention Filecure Customers:
Some Filecure customers have contacted me because
Filecure apparently claims that the DataFlex programs
on this web page will solve their problems.
The DataFlex tools on this web page are for
professional DataFlex developers.
The DataFlex tools on this web page will
not help you solve any known problem reported
by Filecure.
I do not know why Filecure apparently says that
these DataFlex programs will help.
I do not have anything that will help you and
you will not be able to download a free version
of DataFlex from this website.

Version examines all of the FLX files in the current
directory and reports:
- DataFlex version (2.1, 2.2, ... 3.2) of each FLX
file
- DataFlex serial number of the license that compiled
the FLX file
- DataFlex registration name of the license that compiled
the FLX file
- Automatic detection of Motorola-type FLX files
- Automatic detection of FLX files in text mode
Version is an MS-Dos/Windows executable program.
It is compatible with all versions of Windows when executed
in a Dos Box (command prompt).
(For your protection, executables
can not be downloaded from the decompile.com web server.
Please contact
and a copy of the program will be emailed to you.)
DFFIND:
Ever wonder where an FLX file was located, or why a
particular FLX file was not being executed and another
FLX file was being executed instead? Then you need DFFIND.
DFFIND is an MS-Dos program that lists the FLX
files on the DataFlex dfpath environment variable. Similar
to a 'whereis' type utility, DFFIND restricts
its search to the directories defined in the dfpath.
DFFIND is smart enough to search the directories
in the same order that they are defined in the dfpath
environment variable. It's also smart enough to know
when it has already searched a particular directory,
so it only lists a file one time for each unique occurrence
on the hard drive or network. SUBSTituted or JOINed
directories do not fool DFFIND. Naturally it
understands indirect directory references (../../subdir)
in dfpath too.
DFFIND understands wildcards but it defaults
to displaying the *.FLX files throughout the entire
dfpath.
Limitation: DFFIND doesn't know about dfenv.cfg
yet.

can not be downloaded from the decompile.com web server.

and a copy of the program will be emailed to you.)
